in human relationship, nothing can be achieved expect in an atmosphere of openness, trust and reciprocity.The rest are subtleties over what is good. Hiding behind masks and props is either sinistral or insecurity, putting up a false front of either deceit or desperation. Unless people open up to each other, each would be a hidden self to the other and, as "a blind leading the blind would end in a pit", so two people hiding behind their cloaks of ignorance and indifference would end up in the darkness of their hidden selves.

Openness is the starting point of trust- real openness, honest openness, with no mental reservations and no cards up the sleeves, each open book to the others. Smokescreens of distrust blur the inner visions of what people truly are, each hidden to other and each blind to himself. Then no binding force can create a good relationships- not between persons, not within the family not in the administration of work stations.
